In the past week, 9 Sacramentans were injured in 2 separate hit and run accidents. Many of my clients are unaware that even if the hit and run driver injuring the innocent party leaves the scene in a hit and run accident.they may still have insurance coerage under their own uninsured motorist automobile insurance.
In the first accident, a pedestrian was struck last Friday approximately 7:15PM, while walking on Stockton Boulevard just south of Fruitridge Road. Anyone who witnessed this accident should call the Califonia Highway Patrol at

In the Second hit and run accident, on Saturday evening a hit and run motorist sent 8 people to the hospital when he struck their vehicle on Highway 99 just north of the 12th Street exit in Sacramento. Again, anyone who has information on the other driver involved is asked to call the CHP at 916-681-2300.
